Sunday was the 5 yrs anniversary of The Sugarfactory in Amsterdam. The dailypaper boys organized a nice party with a mix of fashion, art, photography, style and fun. And I got to take home a real nice painting of myself. The picture of the painting was taken when it was half done. I will soon drop a picture of the end result. I really love it.

Since my mother has a wardrobe full of caftans I thought let me upload some pics and introduce you with our national costume.. My mother is like addicted to them. Every year she buys a load of new ones. In our culture you can’t wear the caftan often. It’s like fashion so you have to stay updated. It’s like a battle who has the prettiest caftan. Well Im going to Marocco this year and I have a lot of inspiration. I’m going to design a few.

De sapeur draagt dus liever kniekousen dan sokken. De stropdas zien ze als een kunstwerk.
